Advice should be like this... I mean, people are always "advising" each other on what not... but this by far, is the best piece of advice I have come across....and to think all I had to do, was watch the Idiot box long enuf! :D
--- "People are not who they were in your last conversation with them. They are who they have been throughout your relationship with them" (Smallville). ...pretty deep, huh?
(maybe I'm reading more into it than I should? But it's so true in almost every case...when I'm mad at mom, I am thoroughly selfish (as I was made to be....let's blame it on fate... :p), and I keep thinking about how selfish she is/ how restrictive she is... Instead of concentrating on the last few minutes, if I only took a moment to lean back and look at the whole picture, I would definitely know how wrong I (always) am... :)
Now the question is, "Can you actually use the advice?"

I tell you, this country produces not only the fattest people, but also the fattest animals!...they're unbelieveably huge....
The other day, i was at school at 8 am as usual, and was walking back to the car from the library, cos the library's comp. lab wasn't open yet (and i needed to print something)...and guess what I saw....SQUIRRELS!
thousands of them! (okay, that was a lil exaggerated...there might have been 6-7 though)...and they were vigorously chewing on nuts that had fallen from the trees behind the library... I swear they sounded like an army of atleast a 1000 people marching! I was just praying that they wudn't try and attack me before I got to my car!
One more time, (this was like a month after I cam here...), this flock of ducks tried to kill me!!! Nobody believes me, but it's true...I was walking past them, when they made weird sounds and looked at me angrily, while throwing wicked looks at each other!
When I told Sam this much later, he said he could imagine the headlines, "Indian girl killed by ducks!"...and amma quoted by the newspapers, "She wasn't used to them. We don't have ducks in India!" X-(

People here are weird, i tell you...I ran into the computer lab to print something out, and cudn't find a computer with an apparent USB drive. So, I climb down under the desk, find one, stick my USB in it, and sit back on my seat, feeling extremely resourceful, when this guy sitting at the computer beside me, pulls a wire from behind the computer and asks mildly, "...looking for a USB drive?"...
I looked away sheepishly, cursing myself at my own stupidity, and mumbled, "Thanks!" He smiles and says, "I won't tell anybody..." I just smiled politely. He needed help with MS ACCESS immediately after that, and I helped him. He was genuinely grateful and pronounced us even...Before leaving, I stopped and said, "You could have told me about the drive earlier you know..." and he just shrugs and says, "I thought you were a technician or something!"...:O
stupid goose!

school, work, bad skin, no money, delayed projects, and yet my life seems so perfect...this must be what it feels like... :)
